Anti-Money Laundering Policy
Our commitment to preventing money laundering and financial crime, in line with UK legislation.
Rena’s Property Group Ltd is fully committed to preventing money laundering and financial crime. In line with UK legislation, we carry out identity checks on all clients, verify the source of funds for property purchases, and monitor transactions for unusual or suspicious activity. Our compliance procedures are in place to ensure your transaction is handled safely, professionally, and transparently.
Our Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) oversees all compliance procedures across the business, ensuring every transaction is handled in line with the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (as amended).

Ongoing monitoring
We monitor transactions throughout the process for any unusual or suspicious patterns of activity.
Secure record keeping
All compliance records are retained securely for five years and handled in accordance with GDPR.
What this means for you
- You will be asked to provide proof of identity and address before we can act on your behalf, whether you are buying, selling, letting, or renting
- For property purchases, we may ask you to provide evidence of your source of funds, such as bank statements, savings history, or other supporting documentation
- These checks are a legal requirement for all UK estate and letting agents, not something unique to us — every reputable agency will ask for the same information
- Any information you provide is handled securely and confidentially, in line with our Privacy Policy
